Migration steps towards post-quantum cryptography:

  1. Identify possible technologies
  2. Choose algorithms for standardization
  3. Standardization (RFCs)
  4. Implementation
  5. Integration into operating systems

Right now, we are at step 1 and 2.

OpenSSH 8.0 supports quantum-computing resistent key exchange method – still experimental though.
